I have a couple of books that I would highly recommend for anyone. The first is by former New York Times journalist, foreign war correspondent for the Times and other publications, a 2001 Pulitzer Prize winner and graduate of Harvard School of Divinity in Chris Hedges’ 2006 New York Times bestseller AMERICAN 🇺🇸 FASCISTS. The second is by award 🥇 winning author ✍️ media analyst, professor of journalist studies at Columbia University in New York City and native Oklahoman Anne Nelson’s 2019 thought provoking book SHADOW NETWORK as they both go back to over five decades ago to where we are now. The third is by a former CIA agent by the name of Gary Kah called ENROUTE TO GLOBAL OCCUPATION.
Has anyone watched the YouTube video called Donald Trump Is The Antichrist ( Proof is in the Bible) and the 45 Scripture verses that the producer/ narrator uses to back up his claims?
The statement that FDR included everyone in the Social Security program is not strictly true, so I wanted to check my facts. Domestic and farm workers, some of the least-compensated American workers who were largely brown and Black people, were not included as beneficiaries. There have been a handful of historians of our SSA, and the issue of whether leaving out people of color from Social Security coverage was a racist policy was addressed by the historian Larry DeWitt. His writing is still up on the government's website. He claims it was not racism that led to the omission of domestic and farm laborers. I could not immediately find any criticism of Larry DeWitt (he is now dead) except for one website that accuses him of being a Holocaust denier, and a Washington Post article that was about 10 years old and behind a paywall. If anyone learns more about this please share! I feel like I have read current Black thought leaders critical of the omission of farm and domestic laborers, so I was a little shocked at the statement that FDR included everyone. I think there's a lot more to the story than that progressive but inadequate initial design of Social Security. It seems odd to me that the chief historian of the SSA was so invested in smothering criticism of its initial design.

I think that maybe the Qataris might have an ulterior motive that may backfire against the Trump family?
Looking good 👍 Nick
I should also say that I love the idea of an online book group about fascism! Thank you to all participants!
