“While judges and politicians and financiers block paths so others can’t use them, these same groups are powerless to block the revolutionary path. No one can block that path. Yell ‘stop!’ all you like. A revolution doesn’t listen.” —Excerpted from The Billionaire Condemnation Society
Usually a mass movement needs some direct, concrete demands and a leader or leaders to act as proxies to present those demands. And actions such as the withdrawal of labor have to be used when the regime refuses to meet those demands. Otherwise, something like today is nice, but it serves as a feel-good-for-a-moment event and then fizzles out. It's too easy for the regime in DC to ignore this and carry on toward authoritarian rule. As an example, Occupy Wall Street looked promising for awhile, but never presented any demands and never developed a leader or leaders to present any demands. And it fizzled. This time if things fizzle, the outcome is going to be very ugly.
with light.
DEMOCRACY must be saved.
The CONSTITUTION
must stand for the American people.
DICTATORSHIP
must be brought down. The evil that comes with it and the darkness struck with light.
Reggie Gibson at the start of this—

So good to see St. Louis walking in the rain!
A widowed generational grandmother lived on Walnut St (parallel Market). That way she could walk to church unaccompanied.
Long before an Interstate 44. They left the Old Cathedral of France though, stucco plaster at that!
Going back to listen to the poem now. I’m like Tara with that. I don’t want to cry.
